A fake five-star positive view can leave a consumer feeling disappointed and betrayed. According to a new report from the independent think tank, the Canadian Anti-Monopoly Project, more must be done to crack down on bad actors. The report's author is calling for stronger federal anti-fraud legislation that would involve harsher penalties and consumer warnings on products guilty of fake reviews.
