REGINA – The City of Regina is still working to fix nearly 50 water main breaks, including some that have been gushing water constantly for weeks.

The longest-running break has been pouring a constant stream of water since February 17th, prompting nearby residents to joke they now live on waterfront property.

City manager John Ulrich says four crews are plugging away, adding he doesn’t think the city needs to hire any additional people.

He says in February, the city repaired 75 leaks.
