WINNIPEG – A hit and run victim has died.
21-year-old Cody Joss was struck at about 7:00 p.m. Friday as he was crossing Inkster Boulevard at McGregor Street.
“Sadly Cody left us this evening,” his father Kevin Joss said in an email to Global News late Saturday night.

The vehicle, described as a dark-coloured pickup truck, quickly fled before officers arrived at the scene.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
There is no word if charges are pending.
