Summary: The 41st provincial election will see longtime NDP MLA Eric Robinson go head-to-head with rookie Progressive Conservative and Liberal candidates who look to take the riding for their parties.
Boundaries: The Kewatinook riding sits in the northeastern corner of the province and holds the towns of Churchill and Gillam. Hudson Bay runs along most of the northern border of the riding while Little Grand Rapids and Atikaki Provincial Park mark the southern border.

Last Election: Incumbent NDP MLA Eric Robinson took the riding with 56 per cent of the votes. The PC candidate followed up with 38 percent, the Green Party candidate took two per cent while the Liberals took home one per cent.
History: This northern riding was formerly known as Rupert’s Land up until the 2007 election when its name was changed to Kewatinook. It’s been an NDP stronghold since the 1970’s. NDP’s Robinson has held the seat since 1999.
