Police say they located a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road with the driver passed out behind the wheel and a bottle of alcohol next to the driver — and a five-year-old girl in the vehicle.

It’s alleged the driver was more than three times over the legal blood-alcohol limit.

Thirty-seven-year-old Iryna Lazovik is due in an Owen Sound court next month to face charges of impaired driving, being over the legal blood-alcohol limit and failing to provide the necessaries of life to a child.
