A group of thrill-seekers were evacuated from a roller coaster at Six Flags in Arlington, Texas, Friday morning after being stuck on the ride for a short while.
The Shockwave roller coaster has upside down loops, but the car stopped while it was right-side-up around 11 a.m., reported NBC affiliate KXAS-TV.
Park officials told reporters that a sensor showed a problem with the ride, and it was stopped at a safe place: on its initial ascent up the tracks.
Riders were let off onto the stairway next to the coaster and were walked down.

Twitter-user Andrew Cook shared a picture of himself stuck on the ride as well as crews helping him disembark.

The ride was then closed for further inspection.
There were about 20 people on the ride when it stalled, WFAA news reported.
