Police seize cocaine, cash in Saskatoon drug bust

Police say they have seized cocaine and hundreds of dollars in cash and charged two people following a drug bust in Saskatoon.

The bust happened Wednesday at around 11 a.m. in the 100-block of 33rd Street West where a woman is accused of making a drug transaction.

Members of the street integrated drug enforcement team (SIDEST) say they seized 0.3 grams of cocaine, three Xanax pills, a small amount of marijuana and around $2,900 in cash.

A vehicle was also seized for what police say is offence related property.

A 25-year-old Saskatoon woman is facing drug trafficking and possession charges along with a proceeds of crime charge.

A 23-year-old man has been charged with possession of cocaine.
