Holiday parking elves are spreading the cheer by offering free parking at select Calgary locations for a sixth year in a row.
It’s a Calgary Parking Authority (CPA) initiative to encourage Calgarians to shop at local businesses.
Dec. 10 and Dec. 17, drivers can indulge in free two-hour parking sessions in Inglewood, 4 Street, Kensington and 17 Avenue between 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The elves will also be handing out $10 ParkPlus Welcome Credits to visitors in the areas that offer free parking.
To qualify for the deal, people parking their vehicles have to approach a holiday parking elf and ask for a free session prior to making a parking payment or be randomly approached by an elf.
