MONTREAL — Police are investigating after a 36-year-old bus driver was badly beaten in Little Italy in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The driver remains in serious but stable condition after he was attacked by three men on a bus at the corner of St. Laurent Blvd. and Jean Talon St.
According to a police spokesperson, the attack took place at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

The driver was punched several times in the head during a heated argument with the men.
After the attack, the three men took off. The driver was transported to hospital with severe head injuries.
“The investigation is going very well and very fast,” a police spokesperson said Wednesday morning.
He confirmed that investigators may have a lead on the suspects, believed to be in their 20s.
