Search for man swept away at Gold Creek still on hold

The search for a second man who was swept away at Gold Creek in Golden Ears Provincial Park has been postponed.

Crews say it’s still too dangerous right now and that they will have to wait until conditions in the water improve in order to resume their search.

A 21-year-old man and his 19-year-old friend were swimming Friday when they were suddenly swept away.
