Pooja Misra
Online Video Journalist
Pooja Misra is an online video journalist with Global News, based in Toronto. As part of the National Online Video team, she scripts, edits and produces breaking news, original stories and digital video content for audiences across Canada, including videos for YouTube, TikTok and other social media platforms.
Pooja began her career at Global News as a freelancer during the pandemic and has since worked across several areas of the newsroom, including as a robotic camera operator, technician, affiliate coordinator and video editor. Her experience across both technical and editorial production ultimately led her to her current role as an online video journalist.
She holds a diploma in Broadcasting and Film and a degree in Digital Communications.
