Orange Shirt Day – Every Child Matters; the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a day to honour survivors of residential schools and their families, remember the children who never came home, and commit to meaningful action.
On Wednesday September 30, join the Orange Shirt Society and their partners: FortisBC, Vancity, and Rock 101 at Park Royal South to share your support, purchase your official orange t-shirt, hear stories, connect with community, and participate in meaningful opportunities for learning and reflection.
Take time to acknowledge the truth, listen with an open heart, learn our shared history, grow in understanding, and stand with Indigenous communities. Together, we move reconciliation forward because Every Child Matters.
