As part of Welcoming Week 2026, the Welcome to Burnaby Fair is a FREE community celebration of connection, culture, and belonging! Date: Friday, September 18, 2026 Time: 2:00pm – 6:30pm Venue: Burnaby Village Museum (6501 Deer Lake Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G 3T6) The venue is wheelchair accessible. Join us to enjoy: – 30+ Community Resource Booths* – Live Cultural Performances – Educational Workshops – Kids’ Activities and more … * Including information on settlement, employment, learning & language, families & parenting, health & wellness, culture, interfaith, government, food security, and other services available. Everyone is welcome — including newcomers, immigrants, long-time residents, families, and community members. It will be a wonderful opportunity to connect with others, discover local resources, enjoy cultural performances, and celebrate the diversity that makes Burnaby such a welcoming community! The fair is organized by the Burnaby Intercultural Planning Table (BIPT), Burnaby Together, and Burnaby Family Life, in partnership with the City of Burnaby and Burnaby Village Museum.
