B.C.’s farmers’ markets will soon be able to sell local wine, beer and spirits after the provincial government announced they’re adopting 73 reforms to their liquor laws.
Local liquor producers are eager for the opportunity to sell their products at markets, hoping the changes will take effect by the beginning of the summer.

Each market will choose whether they will allow alcohol or not, and there will be restrictions.
The public won’t be able to wander around markets with alcoholic beverages and sellers will be limited by local municipal rules.
