The search continues for his brother, 13-year-old Aaron Au Ramirez.
RCMP say the younger boy was swept into the lake’s waters last weekend and his older brother dove in to try to save him before both were caught in the current.
A crew from the Hutterian Emergency Aquatic Response Team, known as HEART, has been using sonar imaging in the search. The equipment is attached to the back of a boat and maps the lake bottom.
