ST. JOHN’S, N.L. – A Newfoundland and Labrador pharmacist facing charges relating to prescription drugs will go to trial on Oct. 5.
Ann Marie Burke of St. John’s pleaded not guilty Wednesday to five charges of possession with the intent of trafficking.

Burke, who’s in her 50s, was arrested after a police raid on an apartment in January.
Police say they found drugs including oxycodone, codeine, morphine and methadone.
Burke was also charged with possessing marijuana.
