Cameraman who contracted Ebola now virus-free

Ashoka Mukpo, a freelance cameraman diagnosed with Ebola while working for NBC News in Liberia, has been declared virus-free, the network reports.

According to NBC, the Nebraska Medical Center said that a blood test showed that the virus was no longer in Mukpo’s bloodstream.

Mukpo will be allowed to leave a biocontainment unit at the medical center on Wednesday.
