Man invades Yorkton home with prohibited weapon: RCMP

A man has been charged after a home invasion involving a prohibited weapon in Yorkton, Sask. Google Maps

YORKTON, Sask. – A 24-year-old man has been charged after a home invasion in Yorkton, Sask. Saturday. Officers responded to the residence in the early morning hours and arrested Brennan Lee Haas.

Mounties seized a conducted energy weapon which is a prohibited device in Canada. No injuries were reported.

Haas is facing charges of break and enter to commit assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and possession of a prohibited weapon. He was remanded into custody and his first court appearance will be on Monday morning.

Yorkton is approximately 305 kilometres southeast of Saskatoon.
