HALIFAX – Neptune Theatre in Halifax has sold a leg lamp that stands more than 11 feet tall online.
The lamp was fashioned after the one made famous in the movie A Christmas Story.
It was built by Neptune Theatre to promote their stage adaptation of the film, which was in production in December.
It was featured on Neptune Theatres’s float during the annual Parade of Lights, and was displayed at Sunnyside Mall.

Today, a spokesperson for Neptune Theatre said the lamp has been sold to Yarmouth Liquidators, who plan to display it in their store.
The company agreed to pay the full $1,000 asking price.
