First impressions are crucial.

The majority of recruiters insist that unprofessional attire can hurt a candidate’s chances of being hired.

For men, a good suit can be the only thing standing in the way of securing a new career and saying ‘good-bye’ to unemployment – but suits are pricey.

Working in partnership with 60 recipient organizations, Moores Clothing for Men launched The Canadian Suit Drive six years ago and never looked back.

“Canada’s rate of unemployment is at 7 per cent,” said Moores regional manager, Roger Assouad.

The campaign runs until July 31 and clothing items can be dropped-off at any Moores location in the province.
