CALGARY – A man believed to be in his 20s has been taken to a Calgary hospital after his car was hit by a gravel truck Wednesday afternoon.

EMS said the man was taken to Foothills Medical Centre in critical condition.

The crash happened at Peigan Trail and 36 Street S.E. and police said westbound Peigan Trail was closed just after 2 p.m.
