Project KARE asks for public’s help in death of Edmonton woman

Project KARE is asking for the public’s health in the death of a woman whose remains were found near Westlock a year and a half ago.

Last month, the Medical Examiner confirmed human remains found on a rural property by hunters in November 2010 were those of Annette Holywhiteman.

She had been on the Edmonton Police Service’s missing persons list since April 2009. Police believe she was last seen in the Edmonton area in the late summer of 2008.

Holywhiteman was known to have led a high risk lifestyle. She was 5’7″ and about 140 pounds.

Project KARE was set up to investigate the deaths of missing people with high risk behaviour.
