TORONTO – GO train service on the Lakeshore East line has resumed following a chemical fire east of Guildwood Station Thursday morning.
“Residual delays” are expected during the morning rush hour, according the GO Transit’s Twitter account.
Fire crews arrived on scene at 10 Chemical Court in the city’s east-end just after 5 a.m. to deal with a two-alarm blaze.

More than 30 firefighters and nine trucks were dispatched and the fire was contained with no injuries just before 7 a.m. ET.

A number of GO train service delays and cancellations were reported as a result of the fire.
