TORONTO — Police have issued an attempted murder warrant for the arrest of a 21-year-old Toronto man in connection with a shooting in the city’s Lawrence Heights neighbourhood.
Toronto police said a man was in his vehicle in the Replin Road and Lawrence Road area on Friday when another car approached him and a man fired multiple shots before fleeing the area. The alleged victim suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Yasin Mahad Ali, 21, of Toronto, was identified by police as a suspect in the shooting and a warrant was issued Wednesday for one count of attempted murder.
Police also charged Abdullahi Abdikarim, 20, of Toronto, with attempted murder on Monday in connection with the shooting.

He was scheduled to appear in a Toronto court on Tuesday.
