A glider crashed into a residential area in Chiba prefecture in Japan on Thursday, killing two people aboard the plane, local media reported.
Japanese broadcaster TBS showed video of the mangled glider in Sakae town.

Reports said two men in their 60s were aboard the aircraft.

Both were taken to hospital after the accident and pronounced dead, according to local media.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
