REGINA – Fighting typically takes place on the ice at hockey games, but at the senior men’s final in Unity, Saskatchewan this week emotions boiled over into the crowd.
At the end of the game between the Wilkie Outlaws and the Biggar Nationals, a number of fans became involved in a brawl in the stands.
Nick Worum captured video of the mêlée and said the brawl started when some fans started throwing air horns onto the ice after the game. A fan was pushed by another fan and things escalated quickly from there.
Worum’s video of the fight goes on for several minutes before police arrived and were able to get to the crowd.

Worum said that no one was seriously injured in the brawl.
On Thursday morning Wilkie’s hockey team posted the following message on their Facebook page:
No one from the Wilkie Outlaws Hockey Club was involved in the fights that broke out in the stands after Tuesday nights League Final game and to the best of our knowledge no one from the town of Wilkie was involved either.

RCMP said they have not received any complaints about the fight but are currently investigating and no charges have been laid.
