Charges laid in case of alleged road rage at Tim Horton’s drive-thru

WINNIPEG — Two men have been charged in a dispute at a Tim Horton’s drive-thru that ended with a 65-year-old man being stabbed.

Winnipeg police were called to the Tim Horton’s on Lagimodiere and Headmaster Row last week after reports of an altercation involving people waiting in line for their morning coffees.

Police now say that altercation started when the 65-year-old got upset with the people in the vehicle in front of him, left his own car and assaulted a 21-year-old man in the passenger seat.

Police say that man got out of his car where the fight continued and that’s when the 65-year-old was stabbed.

Both have since been arrested and charged with assault.
