Health officials in Saskatchewan are issuing their annual reminder about the need for people to protect themselves from West Nile Virus.
They say people can reduce their risk of exposure by wearing repellent and protective clothing outdoors and ensuring that sources of standing water where mosquitoes lay their eggs are eliminated.

In Regina, city pest control manager Ray Morgan says mosquito numbers are well below the 10-year average because of drying conditions in recent weeks.
He also says an abundance of mosquito-chasing dragonflies this summer is also helping.
