MONTREAL – Quebec finance minister Carlos Leitao says there are approximately 100 illegal ATMs operating in the province.
Leitao wouldn’t confirm if the ATMs have links to organized crime.

The finance minister said the province is in the process of tracking down bogus bank machines.
Quebec is the only province that verifies if ATMs have links to organized crime.
