A pipe leaked at Victoria General hospital Thursday morning causing a minor flood that the Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) says didn’t affect any appointments.
The leak happened about 8:30 a.m., according to NSHA spokesperson John Gillis.
Gillis said the leak happened on the second floor, and seeped floors down into the basement, including a simulation room and boardroom.

“We know there are risks to this building because of its age and water is one of them, so we’ll see more of these over time,” said Gillis.
He added there is no word on the cost of damage nor what caused the leak.

The flood was reportedly contained within about an hour.
In September, flooding caused significant damage at the problem-plagued building.
