Yorkton RCMP have charged a youth who allegedly shot a hole in the windshield of a vehicle last week in the eastern Saskatchewan city.
People at the north end of First Avenue reported hearing a loud bang late in the evening on Dec. 5.

Investigators confirmed damage to the vehicle was caused by a gunshot.

On Dec. 7, members of the general investigations section arrested the youth and seized a firearm they said was used in the offence.
The youth, who cannot be named under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is facing a number of charges including careless use of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm while knowing possession was unauthorized, theft and mischief.
