About 400 people gathered in front of the Muslim Brotherhood offices in Cairo on Thursday night, for an unusual protest.

The crowd, some in costumes, performed the Harlem Shake, in an effort to express their opposition to Egypt’s Islamist rulers.
One protester, 22-year-old law student Tarek Badr, told NBC News it was “a funny way to protest how [the Muslim Brotherhood] have taken control of the country.”
As the demonstrators danced and chanted for Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi’s resignation, the Muslim Brotherhood locked up its building and shut off the lights.
