Sinkhole shuts down part of Winnipeg intersection

Drivers are being forced to manouever around a sinkhole that has formed at McPhillips Street and Leila Avenue.

It started to become a problem Tuesday afternoon. The northbound lanes on McPhillips and westbound lanes on Leila are blocked.

North bound traffic on McPhillips at Leila, as well as west bound traffic on Leila will be blocked due to a sink hole. The situation will likely remain the same until Wednesday. #Traffic #Winnipeg @WinnipegTMC

A social media post from the police warns drivers the lanes will be closed until sometime Wednesday.
