Ottawa police locate missing 15-year-old boy

Ottawa police say they have located a 15-year-old boy who had been missing since late Monday afternoon.

In a news release Wednesday morning, police media relations said Gabriel Bérubé-Nicholas “was located safe and sound.”

“The Ottawa Police Service would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance,” the release said.

Bérubé-Nicholas had been last seen at approximately 4 p.m. Monday in the area near the St. Laurent Shopping Centre.

Police said then they had “a concern for his well-being.”
