The Kelowna Fire Department performed a swift water rescue from Mission Creek in the Rutland area on Wednesday.
A man and a woman were riding dinghies down the creek when they became stuck on a sand bar.
Rescue crews were called to the scene around 12:30 p.m. and found the couple was not in distress.

Crews were able to tie a line to their own Zodiac Rescue Inflatable Boat and float out to the island.
When everyone was back in the boat it was towed to shore.
The fire Department would like to remind the public to stay away from the swift moving waters of our area creeks and rivers during the Spring run off. The waters of our Creeks are still high leaving little room under our area bridges.
