According to OPP Const. Sandra Barr, a tractor-trailer rolled into the median after driving in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 around noon on Wednesday.
As a result, one westbound lane of the highway is closed.
Barr said the driver has non-life-threatening injuries, with a possible laceration to the head.

According to OPP, the tractor truck’s diesel tank was punctured, and police are dealing with a spill. The commercial contents of the truck were electronics.

Although one lane is open, OPP say to expect delays in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 near Gananoque.
There is no word why the tractor-trailer crashed, but a witness to the collision said other truck drivers stopped to assist the driver of the crashed vehicle.
The witness, who called into CKWS from the road, said that they saw the driver being pulled out by other drivers from the window of the cab.
