RCMP, including members of the forensic identification unit, were on the scene of a building in Porters Lake on Monday morning investigating an armed robbery.
The building on Highway 7 is home to Farm Assists, a medical cannabis business, but police say the business was not the target of the robbery.
The target was a residence that’s also in the building.

RCMP say two men broke into the building and assaulted a man and a woman. Both victims were taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Police are asking anyone with surveillance cameras in the area to take a look at the footage and see if they can help investigators.
