Police are investigating an incident where a 26-year-old man was seriously injured, after an assault with a weapon.
Officers were called to the 1300 block of Garnet Street for a report of an injured person on Monday, at around 5:30 p.m.

The male was sent to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

As police continue to investigate, they would like to speak to anyone who may have seen something.
