Hamilton police are thanking the public for helping find a 70-year-old man who had been reported missing for several hours.
Police had issued a news release late Thursday afternoon, asking for assistance in finding John Carvell.
Police said Carvell, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, had last been seen on Mary Street at 2 p.m. Thursday.

At the time, police had asked the public to call 9-1-1 if they saw the man.
