A London man is facing charges after police allege he called 911 72 times in over a three-day span.
Police say the calls made were all deemed to be non-emergent in nature and allege the man made multiple calls between Friday, Jan. 25 and Sunday, Jan. 27.
Police have since charged a 39-year-old London man with mischief/obstructing property not exceeding $5,000 and harassing telecommunications.
Police wouldn’t comment on the nature of the calls, but say the misuse of the 911 line could have endangered the safety of others.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
