As Reginans enjoy the Canada Day fireworks, Wascana Centre Authority is warning boaters that no watercrafts are allowed on Wascana Lake during that time.
The fireworks will be launched at 10:30 p.m. from Willow Island in the middle of the lake. Shrapnel from the fireworks are dangerous and can cause harm to anyone on the water.
Bystanders will also be kept a safe distance from the fireworks, which will be directed towards the Legislative Buildings. Organizers say the best place to watch is along the southwest shoreline of Wascana Lake.
Big Bang Fireworks will celebrate their 25th anniversary with a special show.
