REGINA – A woman is dead and drunk driving charges have been laid after a crash early Sunday morning in Regina.
Police say a vehicle being driven by a 20-year-old woman was turning left out of Wascana Park onto Broad Street when it was t-boned by a northbound truck.

The woman was declared dead at the scene.
A male passenger was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the truck, a 31-year-old man, has been charged with impaired driving and exceed .08.
No names have been released.
Police continue to investigate and further charges are possible.
