TORONTO – At least one person has been confirmed dead after a collision on Highway 401 early Friday morning.
All westbound lanes of Hwy 401 are closed from Highway 6 to Guelph Line after a crash between a fuel tanker and a van. Both vehicles were engulfed in flames.

Police say the happened around 3:30 a.m. and one person was pronounced dead on scene.
Meanwhile in Caledon, one woman was also killed in a crash on Airport Road at Healey Road.

Initial reports indicate it was a head-on crash between a car and a transport truck.
Airport road is closed between Healey Road and King Street.
