TORONTO – To mark the 50th anniversary of the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy, a Houston Chronicle photographer, with vintage photos in hand, revisited iconic scenes in both Houston and Dallas from Kennedy’s fateful visit to the state.

Kennedy’s motorcade during a visit to the city, juxtaposed against the current day scene in Houston. Kennedy was assassinated the following day.
