UPDATE AT 3:34 P.M.: The City of Grande Prairie and RCMP say the girl at the centre of an Amber Alert has been located safe. The Amber Alert has been cancelled as a result.
CALGARY- An Amber Alert was issued on Tuesday afternoon, after a seven-month-old was kidnapped in Grande Prairie.

The girl was in the backseat of a truck, when it was stolen from a home in the Royal Oaks area sometime between 12:30 and 1 p.m. MST.
She was wearing pink pants, a pink tunic with blue and pink hearts on it, and no shoes.

The truck is described as a 2010 light brown, two tone Dodge truck, with licence plate number NED 553. The truck has built in tool boxes and a pink sticker on the tailgate that says ‘Baby on Board.’
Cpl. Roy Kennedy says the truck was reported stolen, and it appears the driver had left the vehicle running with the child inside. Police scoured the area in the hope of finding the girl.
