RCMP say an eight-year-old girl who was reported missing from the Cumberland County area of Nova Scotia “has been located and is safe.”
An emergency alert was issued Tuesday morning, asking residents in Mount Pleasant, N.S. to check their yards.

RCMP said the child was last seen at 9 a.m. and it was believed she had “left her yard.”

At 2 p.m., RCMP issued an update to say the girl had been found.
“The RCMP thanks Nova Scotians for assisting with missing persons files through social media shares and offering tips,” police added.
Glad she was found safe.
Phew. Last thing we need is more Nova Scotia kids going missing under mysterious circumstances from their yard. Would be nice to have a follow up for the public as to what happened after asking for the public’s help.
