A B.C. man who is one of the rare people acknowledged to have suffered a debilitating reaction to a COVID vaccine says he is still living a bureaucratic nightmare waiting for compensation.
Jan Przeranski suffers from a chronic, progressive condition that has caused swelling and infections in his arm, rendering it mostly non-functional.
He was approved for compensation from the federal government’s vaccine injury program, but after the government took the program back from a private firm, he has yet to see any money and is out thousands of dollars he has spent on treatment.

He says he was told he would receive a payment on Thursday, but has seen nothing.

“My home care quit because I didn’t have money to pay her anymore, OK, so I am without home care, this is my number one problem right now,” Przeranski told Global News.
“Since I don’t have the home care and I have to ask some people to help me here and there so I have to pay them with money from my own pocket, right, I’m getting short on rent as well, so, I avoided last month and I have problem again this month with my landlord.”
The Public Health Agency of Canada says it cannot comment on individual cases due to privacy concerns, but says it is working on Przeranski’s claim.

Where did you research the facts for the statement that Covid vaccine injury is RARE! Stop reporting that. It isn’t rare, it is real, and the injured continue to suffer without support. They wouldn’t have created a specialized support program if the injuries were rare. I have been left with a permanent neurological condition as a result of this ‘safe and effective’ treatment. Thousands of us across Canada are in the same position with no medical support and many having to travel to the US for care.
It doesn’t matter if he took it of his own free will. It was safe and effective according to those who twisted arms to get it into the publics arms. Can we find out if those who pushed it had all there boosters?
I don’t buy it. If I had bet money I’d say he had dirty tattoo needle. Or smack needle.
I feel sorry for his swollen arm. Must be very frustrating. However I do wonder when did he have the tattoos applied? Did they interfere with the vaccination? Not judging just wondering.
I cannot believe this is what you put on your newscast on 6:00 PM news. First of all this guy had a vaccine in 2022………….at his choice. He is looking for compensation for what? I’m just wondering why you would broadcast that and why……….
