As the B.C. provincial election campaign enters the final week, a new poll shows that the BC Conservatives are leading by five points among decided voters.
“The biggest takeaway is that the Conservatives are ahead, and when we look at the overall pattern, it looks like it will be difficult for the NDP to narrow the gap in the time that’s left,” Greg Lyle with Innovative Research Group said.
The poll shows that the BC Conservatives have at least marginal leads in every region in the province, with a large lead among Punjabi and Chinese speakers, who are key voters in several Lower Mainland swing seats.
“One big thing is that this still remains a time for a change election,” Lyle added.
“So often, elections will evolve. They’ll start as sort of a referendum on the government, but then they’ll transition into a choice between alternatives. In this campaign, people have gotten even more angry at the NDP as the campaign progressed.”
Lyle added that the other big question mark was if BC Conservative Leader Lorne Doerkson was going to emerge as someone who could be seen to lead the province.
The poll found that Doerkson gained between six and 10 points on specific leadership attributes, including a 10-point increase in the share of voters who rated him as the most competent choice.
“Statistically it’s a tie, but Doerkson gets the bragging rights of being two points ahead,” Lyle said, over BC NDP leader David Eby.
Get breaking National news
“And that’s pretty remarkable. I mean, David Eby has been the premier for years; he called this election. Doerkson was an unknown on the backbench until four weeks ago.”
The poll found that there is no indication of last-minute momentum for the BC NDP, but there is potential for the BC NDP to narrow the gap with Green voters.
Overall, 37 per cent of voters who have a second choice say they have not fully made up their mind and that number is highest for Green voters at 54 per cent.
The poll found that this group is the least certain of any party’s supporters who also strongly favour the BC NDP as their second choice.
But that would still not be enough to close the current five-point gap completely, Lyle said.
“When you look at the slides that we benchmark ‘time for a change’ against the worst it ever got for John Horgan and the worst that it ever got for Christy Clark,” he said.
“And as you’ll recall, Christy Clark lost. The numbers for Eby are three points higher than for Christy and 10 points higher than the worst day for John Horgan. Not only that, but when we ask people, we ask, do you strongly or somewhat agree with that statement? The numbers (that) strongly agree with that statement increased by 10 points over the course of the election. So it’s getting worse for the premier.”
Lyle said the poll shows the biggest lead for the BC Conservatives is in the Lower Mainland, south of the Fraser River.
Other areas of the province are closer, but the BC Conservatives have at least a marginal lead, he added.
“The number of undecided is pretty limited. It’s under 10 per cent,” Lyle said.
“The real story is people that need to hear more before they finally make up their mind. For the Conservatives and the NDP, it’s only about a third of their voters that still want to hear more, so their vote is fairly firm.
“But among the Greens, more than half would like to hear more. And so that’s gonna give a little bounce in the step of the NDP. Because when we look at their second choices, two to one, their second choices go to the NDP.”
These are the results of an online survey conducted between Oct. 15 and Oct. 19, 2026.
This online survey was conducted using INNOVATIVE’s Canada 20/20 national research panel with additional respondents from Lucid, a leading provider of online samples. Each survey is administered to a series of randomly selected samples from the panel and weighted to ensure that the overall sample’s composition reflects that of the actual Canadian population according to Census data to provide results that are intended to approximate a probability sample.
Sample Size: n=1153 British Columbian citizens, 18 years or older. The results are B.C. weighted to n=1000 based on Census data from Statistics Canada.
You guys also realize your voting for someone who can’t even be premier right?!! Doesn’t matter though….AS LONG AS HE CLAIMS TO BE CONSERVATIVE.!
This mental midget has said nothing and promised impossible things and because he’s in the ” church” you guys believe you need to vote for him. Then you get screwed 3 weeks in andvwonder why. Take your church garbage and please head back to the flatlands where you can be as deranged as you like!

I love to play golf with my girlfriends balls.
He prefers to have them fondled but I love to give them a smack and then sink my driver into his hole.
Pray for the immigrants.
Actually, I never went to Mexico. I’ve never been on a plane, as you need money for that stuff. But…my last blow up doll says Made in Mexico. Does that count? I’m counting it. Speaking of blown dolls….come to daddy…
How to trigger an inbred NAZl troll on the internet = Say you went to Mexico for a week 😂😂😂
The copycat troll is right. I’m so triggered I’ve already begun punching the bathroom stalls at work (McDonald’s). After the NDP loses I’m going to fist every chug on Hastings. Then I’ll probably stop by the Capilano reserve and do my “hey-ya-hey-ya-hey-ya!” I always get a kick out of that one.
How to trigger an inbred NAZl troll on the internet = Say you went on a golf trip 🤣🤣🤣
No way, so do I!! Because they’re the two that are dumb enough to believe me when I say the warts on my co ck are just decorations. Especially the chugs! LOL
I prefer black and native men. Whiteboys have such small c0cks
Really? I was just at Capilano area too, getting blowjobs myself, from the chugs on the reservation there. Damn those squaws are in rough shape. It’s too bad they’re never getting off the reserve. Maybe DRIPA would have helped that but the NDP is losing, so….
I’ll be out back of the Walmart at Capilano mall allday today giving bIowjobs to anyone that will vote OneBC. Donations will also be accepted! No seriously I could really use the money…
Seems like the only people that think the copycat troll is funny are more inbred NAZl losers. Big shocker there. In reality I’m the only intelligent person that comes around the Global comment section these days. That’s why I have trolls copying my name and following me around. Either way it’s all good. Apparently all I have to do is talk about playing golf and having a girlfriend and they go completely insane 🤣🤣

Only in your tiny brain buddy 🤣👍
Whoever is trolling JV seems to be doing a good job lol.
Imagine being so inbred and desperate that you claim to have a high IQ but your biggest flex is saying a bunch of NAZl shlt and then copying someone’s name because their comments hurt your feelings. It’s pretty obvious at this point that live in this guy’s head 24/7 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Man the Jay Voorhees copycat troll is still extra sore because I went to Mexico for a week and he sat here the entire time pretending to be me because he has no friends and no life whatsoever. I bet he sucks at golf to hahahahaha
Hey guys this is Naomi Chocyk – OneBC Candidate for West Vancouver- Capilano. I just wanted to let everyone know that I love AdoIf HitIer!!
I’m going home to my blow-up doll named Nataliya, a polish blonde. I had to re-shape her mouth a bit because my co ck is a bit deformed now with all the STD’s I have. Sadly, the only real vagina I’ll have ever touched in my sorry life was my mom’s, when I was born. Anyways, good night! Or is it? I might have to come back and write 3-4 more angry, triggered responses to myself. Too funny!
Vote conservative!
Hey JV I better get going then. I am just my sandwich your GF had made me while she spits out my load
In the next room.
Anyways I’m going home to my girlfriend now while the Jay Voorhees copycat troll jerks off to child porn and spanks himself with the Bible. Have fun! 🤣🤣
He’s probably one of those f**king guys that shows up to the golf course with Value Village clubs and plays as a single. Then he’ll shoot like a 159 and blame the wind. Meanwhile the 3some that he joined up with already left the course because they couldn’t stand listening to this loser whine and complain the whole time about the fact that he sucks ass and he clearly suffers from some sort of mental illness LOL
Man the Jay Voorhees copycat troll is really upset today. Apparently he’s still jealous over my golf trip. Who knew that it would drive him to insanity? It must be really tough having no friends and no life. I bet he sucks at golf to hahahahaha
Holy triggered! Hahahahahahaha
Wow this glue that some chug passed over to me that I keep sniffing has really got me messed up. For a second there I was thinking this BC election wasn’t all but wrapped up for the Cons. Am I that stupid? Am I that much of a loser that I’m one of those “it’s not over till it’s over, mister” freaks? I guess I really am a loser. I’ll just keep pretending that the NDP have a chance. There’s a bigger chance a girl will smile at me, and that’s about 0.0001%. Back to daydreaming about fake golf trips to England with all my gay buddies, and that I have a polish girlfriend! 😂😂😂😂😂
Duhhhhh the Conservatives won the election! Duhhhhhhhhh chugs!
Duhhhhhhhhh some gay shlt!
That’s actually what you sound like 😂😂😂😂😂

I’m so pissed that the Cons are winning, I’m hitting East Hastings and finding the first chug that still has his or her teeth, and kicking him in the face.
This might take a year or two….”
Meanwhile I’m sitting here laughing hysterically at the fact you’re celebrating a win that hasn’t even happened yet. Yep you really are that stupid 🤣🤣

338Canada, Canada’s poll aggregator and election predictor, has a 54-seat projection for the Cons. We’re only 3 days away, and we’ve even had several days of early voting. They’ve never gotten an election result wrong that close to D-Day. Transition: It’s all over for the NDP already.
If you voted NDP, you have just lost in one of the biggest political mistakes since Robert Bourassa in ‘76. Hahaha
@ Doug Brekfaust
The Canadian federal government spends over $32 billion to $40.8 billion annually on Indigenous and First Nations programs. Main departments like Indigenous Services Canada plan to spend about $24.1 billion in fiscal year 2026-27 alone to support community services, health, education, and infrastructure.
Growth in Federal Spending
• Rapid increase: Spending has roughly tripled or quadrupled since 2015, rising from about $11 billion to over $32–40 billion per year.
• Direct transfers: Over 90% of department funds go directly to Indigenous communities and organizations.
• Historical context: According to the Fraser Institute, total allocations have grown steadily over the last several decades to address long-standing treaty and social obligations.
Key Department Budgets
• Indigenous Services Canada (ISC): Plans to spend $24.09 billion in 2026-27 to manage day-to-day services, community health, and governance, as detailed in the Indigenous Services Canada’s 2026-2027 Departmental Plan.
• Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC): Manages land claims, self-government negotiations, and historic treaty implementation.
• Targeted infusions: Recent updates include over $2 billion in added funding for health care, emergency management, mental health, and urban Indigenous programs.
The BC Conservatives couldn’t change any of this even if they repealed DRIPA. The provincial government has no say in what the federal government does when it comes to funding Indigenous communities in BC
The only people that are fed up are you and fringe minority of racist white people with mental health issues
High volumes of temporary foreign workers and international students provide businesses with a steady supply of low-wage labour reduces the incentive for companies to raise wages or invest in automation.
and to maintain high profit margins at the expense of domestic workers.
“ Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau and his Minister of Indian Affairs, Jean Chrétien, tried to abolish the Indian Act through the 1969 White Paper. [1] The 1969 White Paper ProposalOfficial Title: Statement of the Government of Canada on Indian Status.
Core Goal: Eliminate Indian status, dissolve the Department of Indian Affairs, and end the special legal relationship between Indigenous peoples and the federal government.
Key Actions: Proposed ending treaties, converting reserve lands to private property, and transferring service responsibilities to the provinces.“
What can be voted in can be voted out just takes enough people to be fed up.

Aww look the white trash goof is having a temper tantrum 🤣🤣 If you don’t like Canada then get then leave! Maybe you should back to Europe where your daddy came from

Lol another stupid redneck blaming the NDP for their sh!tty life 😂😂
Bob B you don’t have to listen to anything people have lived through 4 years of Eby as premier and that’s not misinformation that is seeing for themselves how bad Eby is. Eby has made lots of promises just like he did in the last campaign and he did nothing so that tells me he is a liar and will say or do anything to get elected again
Every time Eby makes an election “promise’ he should be asked: “you’ve been in power for a decade so why didn’t you do this before?” Real Answer: no intention of doing any of it. Anyway it will be fun to watch a Conservative gov’t lock horns with the Greenies in Vancouver
If you know all the misinformation and racism put out by the BC Conservatives, you’d have to be stupid to vote for them.
If you know all the numbers put out by the incompetent NDP, you’d have to be stupid to vote for them.
KLF is completely out of the picture.
Meanwhile it’s ok if unelected Kerry-Lynne Findlay aka @Gramaga is pulling the strings from behind the scenes. Vote Conservative if you’re a racist idiot
That Global interview with Eby and his wife was weird…she is unelected but clearly influencing policy by some of the things she said…
It is obvious who wears the pants in that family…
Please vote Conservative and save our province…

Asian and south Asian have been here for decades, longer than some of you so call Canadians. Some help built and died building the railroads here creating the city of Vancouver. Just look at the dates on building in Chinatown. There’s even a monuments honoraring Asian that fought Canada’s war. Their Children are descendants and are more Canadian than most you commenter here. And you guys talk like they don’t belong here and don’t have Canadian values. Pathetic.
Really? And Global allows this racist garbage? tell you what buddy, I am as Canadian as you could ever hope to be. I was born and raised here 62 years ago. I have worked since I was about 12. I built my first barn at 13. I survived Canadian prairie deep winters keeping stock alive as well as myself! I have worked across three provinces building homes, hotels and other infrastructure and buildings. I HAVE EARNED MY WAY AS A CANADIAN AND PAY MY TAXES SO GO F*CK YOURSELF!”

But this isn’t the latest poll, Angus Reid has a statistical tie and is a fresher poll.
I know Global leans Conservative but this borders on misinformation the way it’s presented to favour one side.

100% Agree.
Does anyone actually think the Asians, South Asians, Middle Easterners, etc etc care about left wing agenda and DRIPA!
Nope!”
Oh look you’re crying about DRIPA again. Big shock considering you spend your entire life on the internet crying about DRIPA. You’re so ignorant full of hate that you don’t even realize that if DRIPA is repealed it won’t stop the $40 Billion that the federal government send to First Nations every year 🤣🤣
