A 15-second video of a rat dragging an entire slice of pizza down the steps of a New York City subway station went viral Monday, instantly propelling the rodent to Internet fame.
The short video was captured by Matt Little, a New York-based comedian, and uploaded to YouTube Monday afternoon.
The video, dubbed “New York City rat taking pizza home on the subway,” has over 1.5 million views.
Within a few hours of being uploaded, the video exploded on social media and the rodent quickly became known as #PizzaRat.
