TORONTO — The northbound lanes of Allen Road between Eglinton Avenue and Highway 401 have been reopened hours after police shut down rush-hour traffic in response to gunfire between two vehicles.
The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say they’ve found numerous shell casings at the scene.
The northbound lanes were reopened around 7 p.m.

Police spokeswoman Caroline de Kloet said there are no damaged vehicles in the area or any known injuries.

De Kloet said investigators are scouring video footage.
“They’re definitely looking into all cameras that are there.”
Police say eyewitnesses saw a gun.
